HELP of Ojai will host its annual Pumpkin Social fund-raiser 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. today at Little House Senior Center, 111 W. Santa Ana St.
Festivities will include a “treasure” rummage sale, an “Elves’ Boutique” for holiday gifts, a plant sale and kids’ corner with games, face painting and an inflatable jumper.
Homemade pumpkin pie and other baked goods will be available.
Admission for the kids’ corner is $10. All proceeds support HELP of Ojai’s programs.
The nonprofit umbrella organization sponsors a range of community services, including the “Little House” senior center, Meals on Wheels, a senior transportation service, senior day care and youth programs.
All the programs are run almost entirely by volunteers.
Last year, about 700 people, mostly seniors, donated 90,000 hours to HELP programs.
