The UC Irvine women’s team has received commitments from two teammates at Murrieta Valley High.
Nighthawk Athletic Director Dave Zirkle said Thursday that Kelly Wing, a 5-8 outside hitter who was an all-Sun Belt League choice in 1999, and Dana Kurzbard, a 6-5 middle blocker, intend to play for the Anteaters next season.
Irvine already had commitments from setter Ashlie Hain of Thousand Oaks La Reina High and middle blocker Sami Cash of Riverside North.
The Anteaters, who host Idaho at 7 p.m. Saturday, must replace five seniors.
