The Planning Commission approved construction of a 9,897-square-foot building that will house a KinderCare L.C. day-care service in the Imperial and Rose Shopping Center in the northeast part of town.
The proposed building will contain 12 classrooms, 11 restrooms, a reception area, food service area and four outside play areas, all designed to accommodate 184 children.
The center will provide day care to children between the ages of 6 weeks and 12 years.
