As many as 10,000 people are expected to converge on the Downtown Plaza tonight to take part in the city’s annual Halloween Parade, hosted this year by radio hosts Mark and Brian, whose morning show airs on KLOS-FM (95.5).
The parade will begin at 7:30 p.m. and feature hundreds of costumed characters. Entertainment is planned throughout the night, with a performance by the rock band the Tubes scheduled to begin at 9 p.m.
The parade route begins on Pomona and Commonwealth avenues and continues down Pomona to Whiting Street. Admission is free. Merchants will keep their doors open late to take advantage of the crowd.
