CYPRESS

The Cypress Recreation and Park District will begin registering children for its youth basketball program Nov. 6. Players ages 7 to 14 can join the league. Practices will begin Dec. 11. Opening day is Jan. 6.

Most games will be Saturdays at Lexington Junior High School and Cypress High School. The league offers a minimum of 10 games this season. The cost is $55 per player with proof of age. T-shirts are provided. Registration continues through Nov. 17 at the Cypress Community Center, 5700 Orange Ave. Information: (714) 229-6780.
