High Tower’s Venture Funding Up $10 Million

High Tower Software, an Irvine company that provides data service for businesses, said Monday that it has received $10 million in a second round of venture capital financing from an investment group led by Liberty Partners.
Other investors include Merrill Lynch & Co., J.F. Shea Co., Inroads Capital Partners, Hallador Venture Partners and Kinship Partners.
Funds will be used for increased sales and marketing efforts. The company received $2 million in an initial round of financing in July 1998.
