Skyward Christian 56, Ventura County Christian 8--Jeff Bosworth rushed for 111 yards in 17 carries and scored on runs of 21, two and nine yards for Skyward Christian in an Omega League game at First Lutheran High.
Skyward Christian (2-4, 1-0), which gained 288 of its 329 yards on the ground, got 61 yards in four carries from Alan Allen, who scored on a 41-yard run.
Viewpoint 32, L.A. Lutheran 20--Geoffrey Chizever threw for three touchdowns and Chip Stewart ran for two to spark the Patriots (5-2, 4-1) in a Heritage League victory at Calabasas High.
Kyle Kornbacher scored three touchdowns for L.A. Lutheran (1-6, 1-5).
Faith Baptist 56, Pilgrim 22--Tim D’Antonio rushed for 127 yards and two touchdowns in 27 carries to lead the Contenders (4-3, 3-2) to a Heritage League victory at Faith Baptist.
Jeff Weil rushed for 87 yards and one touchdown, and threw for two scores, and Jason Lopez had two interceptions for Faith Baptist.
