3rd Bush-Gore Debate
I am an ex-Democrat; this year I will be voting for George W. Bush. Al Gore and Bill Clinton have had eight years to fix education, crumbling schools and school violence, but they have failed. They have failed to fix Medicare and Social Security. The Republican-led Congress initiated a budget and welfare reform, not Clinton and Gore--they interfered with the process.
As a mother and grandmother I can’t fathom anyone having an abortion. I thought Gore was arrogant and rude in the debate. He also invaded Bush’s space, which was very disrespectful. On top of all of this, I don’t trust Gore.

I would like to know how the son of a Bush can claim to be an outsider in Washington. Dick Cheney is certainly not an outsider and, rest assured, if Bush should get elected his associates will be from the Bush and Reagan regime. I give the American people credit for seeing through this folksy, Western gobbledygook. Gore is running for president, not Clinton. Let us not forget that.

Regarding the “broken promises” of the Clinton years: It seems that the Clinton administration could have gotten a lot more work done if it were not for the Republicans kicking, screaming and throwing an eight-year temper tantrum because President George Bush lost in ’92. The Republican Party needs to be sent to bed without dinner.
