In another West Valley League game:
Granada Hills 27, Chatsworth 20--The Highlanders (5-2, 1-1) scored 20 unanswered points in the fourth quarter, including two rushing touchdowns by Robert Ortega, in a victory at Granada Hills.
Bryan Wilson started the comeback with 11:51 remaining when he intercepted a Jason Moss pass, returning it 21 yards for a touchdown to pull the Highlanders within 20-14.
Mike Fortini blocked Tom Colley’s punt to set up Ortega’s first touchdown, a 41-yard run with 9:12 remaining. Ortega scored the game-winner from four yards with 3:21 left and finished with 136 yards in 13 carries.
Chatworth’s Joe Shumpert carried 19 times for 73 yards and two touchdowns and completed a 21-yard halfback option scoring pass play to Moss in the first quarter. Moss completed five of 15 passes for 110 yards.
