Antelope Valley 42, Quartz Hill 6--Demetre Booker rushed for 90 yards in five carries and completed a 37-yard touchdown pass to Johnny Walker for the Antelopes (6-1, 2-0) at Antelope Valley.
Walker returned the opening kickoff 66 yards to Quartz Hill’s 18-yard line and, three plays later, Raymond Allston scored on a three-yard run.
Walker scored on a 57-yard run on Antelope Valley’s next possession and Booker’s two-point conversion run increased the lead to 14-0 with 4:46 left in the first quarter.
Sean Wallace scored on a three-yard run to give Antelope Valley a 21-0 lead early in the second quarter.
Antelope Valley had three touchdowns nullified by penalties in the first half.
Mychael Williams led Quartz Hill (2-5, 1-1) with 122 yards rushing in 20 carries, including a 70-yard run.
