Littlerock 28, Highland 23--John Ford’s 18-yard scoring run with 1:18 to play lifted the Lobos at Littlerock.
Trailing, 23-21, with 3:58 remaining, Littlerock (3-4, 1-1) drove 80 yards in seven plays, with Ford rushing four times for 53 yards.
Ford led all rushers with 226 yards and three touchdowns in 35 carries. He scored on runs of 66 yards in the second quarter and three yards in the fourth quarter.
Demar Caballero led Highland (2-5, 0-2) with 90 yards rushing in four carries, including a 69-yard scoring run to tie the score, 7-7, in the second quarter.
Josh Mejia gained 75 yards in 11 carries for the Bulldogs. Mike McCoy added 58 yards in 10 carries, including a two-yard touchdown run that gave Highland a 23-21 lead with 6:50 to play.
