Copter Safely Makes Emergency Landing

A helicopter pilot had to make an emergency landing Thursday night after leaving Burbank Airport, authorities said. No one was injured.
The pilot took off shortly after 8 p.m. and notified the airport tower he was experiencing problems. He was able to land the helicopter safely about 2 1/2 miles south of the airport in the 500 block of N. Buena Vista Street, said Lt. Wade Taylor of the Burbank Police Department.
