Short Films Loom Large at Festival

The fourth annual Short Pictures International Film Festival takes place today at the Los Angeles Film School, 6363 Sunset Blvd., Hollywood.
More than 40 films less than 15 minutes long, including documentaries, animation, digital and experimental, speculative commercials and live-action, will screen from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
The festival will conclude with an awards ceremony emceed by actress Susan Anton.
Tickets are $8 in advance, $10 at the door.
