Chapman Men Fall in Soccer

Leo Nava scored off an assist by Christian Stalin to give U.S. International a 1-0 victory over host Chapman in men’s soccer Wednesday.

Nava’s goal came in the 67th minute. U.S. International outshot Chapman, 15-4.

Goalkeeper Jeff Stewart had six saves for the Panthers (5-9-1). U.S. International is 10-2-1.

Cal Baptist 1, Concordia 0--Gia Ketelsleger’s goal in the 85th minute put an end to the scoreless duel for Cal Baptist (9-4-1, 3-1).

Goalie Crystal Rodriguez had eight saves for host Concordia (9-4, 1-3).

Point Loma Nazarene 2, Vanguard 0--Amy Colunga and Whitney McLawhorn scored second-half goals for Point Loma Nazarene (7-5, 2-1).

Goalkeeper Robin Landauer had six saves for visiting Vanguard (7-6, 2-3).
