Calabasas has been on the mend since the opener and won’t get any relief this week.
The Coyotes (2-3) will be without five to seven starters because of injuries Friday against undefeated St. Bonaventure.
“That’s just part of the game, you have to make due with who is available,” Coach Larry Edwards said.
The Coyotes have been without two to three starters in each of their first five games.
Edwards is looking forward to the Coyotes’ Frontier League opener next week against Santa Clara when he is expecting his squad of 30 to be at full strength.
“We’re all going to take a trip to Lourdes and dip ourselves in the water,” Edwards quipped.
