The California Highway Patrol’s San Juan Capistrano office is recruiting senior citizens who want to be part of its volunteer program.
Volunteers will help check abandoned vehicles, conduct surveys of citizen-reported traffic problems, assist with school safety programs and help in the office.
Applicants must be 55 or older to join the squad. A background investigation and interview are required. Information: (949) 487-4000.
