Fullerton Union High School will launch this year’s homecoming festivities Friday with a special ceremony inducting three former students into its Wall of Fame.
The three are Robert E. Fraser, a Naval Air captain decorated for his service in the Korean and Vietnam wars; Walter P. Parks, a retired school administrator dedicated to the arts and the preservation of the historic Mission Inn of Riverside; and Andrew Strenk, an Olympic gold medalist in the 1968 Games in Mexico City.
Fraser graduated from Fullerton Union High School in 1949, Parks was a member of the Class of 1950, and Strenk was valedictorian of the Class of 1967.
Festivities begin with a reception at 6 p.m. in the Academic Court. The Wall of Fame installation will be held shortly thereafter inside the Administration Building prior to the homecoming football game.
