Best Buy, AT&T; in Retail Deal

Best Buy Co., the largest U.S. electronics chain, plans to offer AT&T; Corp.’s digital-cable television and high-speed online services at some of its retail stores by the end of next month. The alliance with AT&T;’s Broadband unit will allow Best Buy customers to sign up for digital cable, high-speed cable Internet and other services at kiosks in selected stores, the company said in a statement. Best Buy spokeswoman Joy Harris declined to provide financial terms of the agreement. Shares of Minneapolis-based Best Buy fell $3.63 to close at $48.50 on the New York Stock Exchange. New York-based AT&T; ended down $1.50 at $25.25.
