* Medical Analysis Systems Inc. in Camarillo has promoted Scot Kinghorn to vice president of operations and Darwin Richardson Jr. to vice president of quality and regulatory affairs.
Kinghorn will oversee the daily manufacturing operations for the company’s clinical diagnostics business. Before joining Medical Analysis Systems, he was employed at Merck’s EM Science division, where he served as quality control manager and manager of process development.
Richardson returns to Medical Analysis Systems from Alpha Therapeutic Corp., where he was associate director of the quality assurance technical group. Before his employment at Alpha Therapeutic, Richardson was a project manager for Medical Analysis’ research and development department.
Medical Analysis Systems is a provider of quality-control products, quality-assurance programs and services, reagents and calibrators used in clinical diagnostic testing.
* Heather Johnson has become an associate in the Ventura office of the real estate firm of Hamner, Jewell & Associates. After completing courses in real estate finance and property management, Johnson received her California real estate license.
Hamner, Jewell is a specialized real estate consulting firm that provides right of way and governmental real estate acquisition and relocation services. In addition to Ventura, it has offices in San Luis Obispo, Santa Maria and San Diego.
