Oxnard Art Assn. Names Exhibit Winners

* The Oxnard Art Assn. has announced winners of its juried art exhibit, “Changing Seasons,” at American Commercial Bank in Oxnard.
Best of Show: Salley Miller for “Summer Gold.”
First place: Louisa Jacobs for “Autumnal Study.”
Second place: Don Fay for “On Hume Lake Trail.”
Third place: Sita Findley for “Port Hueneme Pier.”
The exhibit will be on display through Nov. 3.
Girl Scout Troop 286 Wins Scarecrow Contest
* The Amazing Maize Maze has announced the winner of its charitable Scarecrow Show and Contest, which featured life-size scarecrows created by competing Girl Scout troops.
Totem Council Girl Scout Troop 286 won a $300 prize for its entry. The troop will donate the money to the Wildlife Waystation.
The scarecrows will remain on display at the Camarillo site through October.
