** 1/2 DJ Hurricane, “Don’t Sleep,” TVT. This former Beastie Boys DJ delivers an eclectic and generally entertaining second album. Only rapping occasionally, Hurricane focuses on producing, handling each of the 18 sonically diverse cuts. The effectiveness of the beats seems to correspond to the talent that raps over them, as Xzibit and Rah Digga contribute two of the brightest lyrical moments. As for the lesser-known rappers, they’re light breezes, not hurricanes.
