Franklin 36, Poly 26--The Panthers rallied from 20-0 halftime deficit at Poly to deny the Parrots their first victory.
The Parrots (0-5) built their lead on touchdown passes of 79 and 31 yards by Zachary Sims in the second quarter and a six-yard run by Marlin Goode in the first quarter.
Franklin (3-2) answered in the second half to take a 21-20 lead with 8:09 left to play.
Poly took a short-lived 26-21 lead on Hodari Terry’s 65-yard run down the sideline with 6:25 to play. A minute and a half later, the Panthers took the lead for good on Stanley Robinson’s 23-yard run.
Sims completed four of eight passes for 178 yards and two touchdowns.
