Royal 45, Rio Mesa 0--Greg Morris rushed for 205 yards and three touchdowns in eight carries--all in the first half--at Rio Mesa.
Morris had scoring runs 70, 26 and 89 yards. Rio Mesa (1-4) had seven turnovers, contributing to 31 points for Royal (4-1).
Linebacker Ryan Hogan had a 58-yard fumble return in the first quarter. Lee Martin intercepted a pass on the first play of the second half to set up an 11-yard touchdown pass from James Cox to Lance DeBene.
John Cerda rushed for 106 yards in 24 carries for Rio Mesa.
