La Canada 35, Hoover 0--Chase McKibben rushed for 119 yards in 13 carries and scored on a 65-yard run on the first play from scrimmage to lead the Spartans (4-1) at La Canada.
Ryan Young ran for touchdowns of 20 and seven yards.
Eric Young completed five of nine passes for 94 yards, including a 17-yard touchdown to Lonnie Dietz on the last play of the first half for a 21-0 lead.
Hoover (0-5) was limited to 69 total yards.
