Columbus Day Closures

Monday is Columbus Day. The following schedules will be in effect:
* All county, state and federal offices will be closed. All city offices will be open, except in Stanton.
* County, state and federal courthouses will be closed.
* County libraries will be closed. City libraries will be open. * Banks and savings and loans will be closed.
* Schools: All public schools will be open, except in the Irvine, Capistrano, Saddleback Valley and Orange unified school districts. Community colleges, UC Irvine, Chapman University and Cal State Fullerton will be open.
* Mail: There will be no mail delivery. All post offices will be closed. Mail deposited in mailboxes will be picked up according to the posted holiday schedule.
* Trash: Garbage will be picked up on regular schedule. * Buses: Orange County Transportation Authority buses will run on regular schedule.
* Metrolink: Trains will be running.
* Parks: All city- and county-run parks and recreation facilities will be open during regular hours.
