No. 7 Santa Margarita (3-1) vs. Tustin (3-1)

7:30 TONIGHT TUSTIN HIGH
Tustin’s running backs have averaged more than 216 yards per game, but the key is quarterback David Miller (knee) making his first start of the season. If Tustin can’t pass the ball and control the clock, limiting Santa Margarita’s scoring opportunities, it might be a long night for the Tillers. Santa Margarita’s Matt Dlugolecki has almost as many touchdown passes (six) as Tustin has completed passes (eight). Tyler Thompson, with seven receptions, is averaging 34.3 yards per catch for the Eagles. Tustin’s strength is its defense, but Santa Margarita has lived off the big play.
