The city will seek a $640,850 state grant to pay for improvements at Jerome Park and the Santa Ana Zoo commissary, a batting cage for Madison Park and vans for the city’s youth programs. Assemblyman Lou Correa (D-Anaheim) and state Sen. Joe Dunn (D-Garden Grove) had requested funding from the state budget for the improvements. However, in order to secure the money, the city must file an application with the state.
