Oct. 13: Rep. Elton Gallegly will appear at a fund-raising gathering for Robert Gonzales, who is seeking reelection as a member of the Ventura County Community College board, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Screaming Eagle Aviation at Santa Paula Airport.
Oct. 15: Ventura’s Temple Beth Torah will conduct a candidates forum at 9:30 a.m. at 7620 Foothill Road. Rep. Elton Gallegly and Michael Case, candidates for the 23rd Congressional District, will join Assemblywoman Hannah-Beth Jackson (D-Santa Barbara) and her opponent, Republican Robin Sullivan, and county Board of Supervisors candidates Steve Bennett and Jim Monahan at the forum.
