Literacy Program to Train Volunteers

The Conejo Valley Adult School Literacy Program will offer a free literacy tutor workshop from 6:30 to 9 p.m. today and Oct. 11 in Room B at the Conejo Valley Adult School.
The workshop will prepare volunteers to tutor adults in basic literacy skills. Volunteers do not need to have a teaching background.
After they finish their training, volunteers will spend a minimum of two hours a week tutoring an adult student in the school’s literacy center.
