Today is the deadline for Festival of Arts members voting in the election that would recall members of the festival board of directors.
The recall ballots must be postmarked or hand-delivered today to the nonprofit organization’s offices, at 650 Laguna Canyon Road.
The board is under fire for trying to move the 68-year-old Laguna Beach summer venue to San Clemente.
Results of the election are expected to be announced by the board at a meeting in November, said Sherri M. Butterfield, festival president.
The Festival of Arts board and the San Clemente Chamber of Commerce unveiled architectural and landscape drawings of the proposed San Clemente site near the Talega development last month. Information: (949) 494-1145.
