The Planning Commission on Monday will consider whether to approve an extension for building a 24.5-acre development at 1500 S. Douglass Road.
In August 1998, the commission granted Polygon Development a permit to build office buildings, a restaurant, a 200-room hotel and two parking structures on an empty lot.
However, because the developer has yet to begin construction, its building permit expired in February.
The city’s code allows developers to ask for two extensions.
