The City Council will consider a proposal directing city staff to prepare draft articles of incorporation and bylaws for the creation of a charitable foundation that will raise money for the Intergenerational Community Center.
Money raised by the foundation would be used to fund the design, construction and operation of the proposed center. The foundation would take over the planning and fund-raising activities for the center, which are now being handled by city staff along with a committee of community volunteers. The meeting is at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Trabuco Canyon Water District headquarters, 32003 Dove Canyon Drive.
