The Brea Farmers Market will hold an Oktoberfest on Oct. 10. In addition to offering fall produce, the celebration will include a beer garden featuring German music, specialty brews and a bratwurst barbecue. The celebration will take place from 3 to 7 p.m. on Birch Street downtown.
The Oktoberfest tradition is officially traced to 1810 and the wedding of Crown Prince Ludwig I and Princess Therese von Sachsen-Hildburghausen.
