Reservations are being taken for “California’s Saga: Teacher Seminar 2000,” a California history seminar for teachers at the Mission San Juan Capistrano from Oct. 14 to 15.
Artists, college professors, Native American experts, conservators and historians will educate teachers on the history of Indians and the Spanish in California during the weekend.
A dinner on Oct. 14 will feature Peter Espinosa of Saddleback College discussing “The Psychology of Prejudice.”
The program costs $185, and includes all meals, take-home CDs, and education and art packets with lesson plans and more. One unit of credit from Cal State Fullerton is available for an additional fee.
