Costa Mesa Cyclist Wins at Fairgrounds

Bobby Schwartz of Costa Mesa won the four-lap scratch main event of the weekly speedway motorcycle racing program Saturday night at the Orange County Fairgrounds.
Ed Castro of Ojai finished second and Randy DeFrancesco of Bakersfield placed third.
Michael Mattocks of Ventura won the 4-lap support class main main event with David Lynch of Moreno Valley second and Bill Lyons from Hesperia third.
