Pierce 34, Santa Barbara 19--Donald Carpenter ran for four touchdowns and the Brahmas (1-3, 1-1) snapped an 11-game losing streak at Pierce.
Carpenter, who entered as the conference’s leading rusher, finished with 215 yards in 28 carries. He scored on runs of 16, seven, 34 and two yards.
Pierce intercepted four passes. Linebacker Eric Harris had two interceptions in the second half.
Armone Lochard put the game out of reach when he returned a kickoff 77 yards for a touchdown and 34-19 lead with 14:19 left to play.
Neshawn Crooms rushed for 87 yards in 13 carries for Santa Barbara (0-4, 0-2).
