Police Search for Hit-and-Run Driver

Police are looking for the driver of a vehicle that hit a pedestrian on Ventura Road late Friday.
Agustin Rodriguez, 44, of Oxnard who police said was intoxicated, was walking in the southbound lane just north of Teal Club Road when he was hit. He was taken to St. John’s Regional Medical Center and was in serious condition Saturday.
A description of the vehicle was not available.
Anyone with information should call the Oxnard Police Department at 385-7600 and ask for traffic investigator Ernest Eglin.
