The Times publishes a daily list of police incident reports provided by local law enforcement agencies. The Times prints items as soon as departments make them available. Because many departments release incident reports only weekly, not every community will be represented in each day’s Action Log. Authorities from the following cities released incident reports Wednesday:
BREA
* North Apricot Avenue: Vandalism was reported in the 400 block at 6:39 p.m. Tuesday.
BUENA PARK
* San Rolando Way: Reports of shots fired in the 6200 block at 11:21 p.m. Tuesday.
* La Palma Avenue: A reckless driver was reported in the 8300 block at 10:14 a.m. Tuesday.
COSTA MESA
* West 19th Street: Trespassing was reported in the 900 block at 10:10 a.m. Tuesday.
GARDEN GROVE
* Larson Street: A Garden Grove man was arrested on suspicion of assaulting a police officer in the 9100 block at 12:57 p.m. Saturday. Police were responding to a domestic violence call when the suspect initially fled, then turned and began running toward the officer, challenging him to a fight. The suspect was subdued and taken into custody.
LA PALMA
* La Palma Avenue: A petty theft was reported in the 5000 block at 8:12 a.m. Tuesday.
* Dumaine Drive: A grand theft was reported in the 5000 block at 9:28 a.m. Tuesday.
LOS ALAMITOS
* Los Alamitos Boulevard: A report of a drunk driver in the 10900 block at 2:34 a.m. Friday. The driver was reported by a tow truck driver who was helping the person change his tire.
NEWPORT BEACH
* Amigos Way: Items valued at $550 were stolen from an unlocked car in the 700 block between 8:30 p.m. Monday and 7 a.m. Tuesday.
PLACENTIA
* Cartlen Drive at Trumpet Avenue: Six males were chasing another and fighting at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday.
* Curie Lane at Traub Lane: Two male juveniles were playing with fireworks at 3:41 p.m. Tuesday.
TUSTIN
* Newport Avenue: A petty theft was reported in the 14000 block at 9:46 a.m. Monday.
YORBA LINDA
* Alamo Lane: Vandalism was reported in the 19200 block at 5:43 p.m. Tuesday.
* Kingsbriar Drive: Vandalism was reported in the 6000 block at 6:35 p.m. Tuesday.
Authorities from the following cities did not release incident reports: Anaheim, Cypress, Fountain Valley, Fullerton, Huntington Beach, Irvine, Laguna Beach, La Habra, Orange, Santa Ana, Seal Beach and Westminster.
The Orange County Sheriff’s Department makes incident reports available on the Web. Go to https://www.ocsd.org and click on “Sheriff’s Blotter.” Incident reports are updated every few minutes and cover the cities of Dana Point, Laguna Hills, Laguna Niguel, Laguna Woods, Lake Forest, Mission Viejo, Rancho Santa Margarita, San Clemente, San Juan Capistrano, Stanton and Villa Park, as well as the county’s unincorporated areas.
