Venegas Wins 25-Lap Speedway Main Event

Charlie Venegas of San Bernardino won the 25-lap classic motorcycle race Saturday night in front of 2,600 at the Orange County Fairgrounds.
Cypress’ Dukie Ermolenko came in second and Brad Oxley of San Juan Capistrano finished third.
Garden Grove’s Shawn Harmatiuk took first in the 12-lap support class main.
In the two-man sidecar main, John Matherson of Los Flores and James Eiland of Rancho Cucamonga finished first.
