The City Council voted unanimously to allow the north side of Buena Vista Drive between Wesley Drive and Rose Drive to have overnight parking.
The city received a petition from a property owner requesting exemption from the 2 to 5 a.m. street parking prohibition. The north side of Buena Vista Drive is developed with seven single-family residences on one side and the Muckenthaler Cultural Center on the other side.
A total of 57% of the property owners on the north side signed the petition.
