Man Slain, Woman Hurt in Mar Vista Drive-By

LOS ANGELES — A man was killed and a woman was wounded in a drive-by shooting in Mar Vista on Thursday.
The attack occurred at 4 p.m. in the 4500 block of South Inglewood Boulevard, said Don Cox, a Los Angeles Police Department spokesman. Police said two cars were involved, but could not say if the man and woman had been in the same car.
The victims were not immediately identified.
After the shooting, two men raced away in a white Toyota Tercel, witnesses said.
