The City Council continued discussion on its $13.8-million budget and the $13.3-million capital improvements plan to its July 5 meeting.
The proposed 2000-01 budget has about $416,000 more spending from this year’s budget.
The capital improvements plan includes road improvements, more downtown lighting, sewer repairs and designs for reconstructing the Ortega Highway-Interstate 5 interchange.
