The 14th Dalai Lama will be at Cal State Fullerton at 10 a.m. June 28 in the Titan Student Union’s Portola Pavilion.
As part of his Southern California visit, he will deliver a presentation on “Cherishing Harmony With Diversity: Education in the New Millennium.”
Tibetan music will be performed by Nawang Khechog, a composer and musician. There will be several exhibits reflecting the people and culture of Tibet featured in the pavilion atrium beginning at 8 a.m.
The event is open to the public and proceeds will benefit the CSUF Reading Clinic and the Tibetan Department of Education, Central Administration of His Holiness the Dalai Lama.
Individual tickets for the Portola Pavilion venue are $75 for VIP seating and $50 for general seating. Attendees are asked to arrive no later than 8 a.m. for security processing. Information: (714) 278-2139.
