Fifth- and sixth-graders from Emery Elementary School took first place in a logical reasoning contest during a recent Buena Park school district math tournament.
Other contests during the tournament included story-problem solving and computation-skills solving. Emery also took home the second-place trophy for excellence in the overall competition.
