Event: Clinic for high school and youth coaches. Day: July 8. Time: 8 a.m.-noon. Site: National University campus in Costa Mesa on the southeast corner of Harbor Boulevard and Sunflower Avenue. Fee: Free to first 50 coaches who register. Basics: Bill Cunerty and Lyle Lansdell will present a clinic using technology, the Internet and animation to create new approaches to offense, defense, special teams, game-planning and all aspects of football. Sponsored by the West Coast Passing School, LTL Online and National University, the clinic will include breakfast and lunch.
