A Dana Hills High School student who has been racking up awards for citizenship and community involvement is about to get his shot at a prime-time audience.
Marcos Sanchez, 18, will appear on “Oprah Winfrey” on Monday as the California winner of the Boys & Girls Club State Youth of the Year award.
Sanchez will receive a $25,000 scholarship from Winfrey’s Angel Network, according to district staff reports.
