The musical group Third Door Down will open tonight for East Coast singer-songwriter Terry Kitchen at Exile Books & Music, 14925 Magnolia Blvd., Sherman Oaks. The show is at 8 p.m.; $10 cover. Carlye’s House of Pain will make Saturday an evening of music and spoken word featuring E.C. Archibeque, Phil Ward and others. 8 p.m. show time and $5 cover. The Wednesday Open Mike is for performers with original material only. Songwriters may perform three songs, and spoken word artists get 10 minutes on stage. Sign-ups at 7:30 p.m. No cover.
