* The Nixon tapes etc. reaped $18 million from the U.S. government (June 13). The article indicates that the Nixon family will receive 0.5%; that, if my math is correct, represents a total of $90,000. Granted, the Nixon Library will get $6 million (33%), but the lawyers received $7.4 million (41%).
For less than that, society establishes price controls or puts thieves in jail.
