With the school year winding down this week for most students, the Children’s Museum at La Habra is recruiting youth volunteers to help out during the summer.
Volunteers are needed to serve as gallery aides, performing duties that include running the carousel, manning the art workshop and working with children and families.
Student volunteers must be 14 years old or older and willing to work in two- and three-hour shifts.
The museum is at 301 S. Euclid St. and is open to the public Monday through Saturday between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. and between 1 and 5 p.m. on Sundays. Information: (562) 905-9636.
