Kirov Orchestra Program Announced

The Philharmonic Society of Orange County has announced the program for the previously announced concert by Valery Gergiev and the Kirov Orchestra at 8 p.m. Sept. 11 at the Irvine Barclay Theatre. Gergiev will conduct the Suite from Prokofiev’s “The Three Oranges”; Rachmaninoff’s “Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini,” with pianist Vladimir Feltsman; Overture to Wagner’s “Tannhauser,” and Shostakovich’s Symphony No. 9.
